"What’s Your Story? The
Healing Power of Sharing Your Stories"
Now is the time to tell your story! In this interactive
presentation, author and oral historian Angela Zusman will help
participants connect with some of their own life stories. She will
discuss the value of storytelling as a means of educating,
empowering and healing individuals, families and communities.
Drawing on her experience as a personal historian, she will present
tips and resources for collecting, organizing and preserving
valuable stories, wisdom and experiences.
Angela Zusman is an oral and personal historian who has documented
hundreds of individual, family and community histories. For the last
ten years her company Uniquely Perfect has helped people share their
stories and family histories, creating custom books, events, and
exhibitions to share and preserve valuable wisdom and experiences:

She is the author of Story Bridges: A Guide to Conducting
Intergenerational Oral History Projects, published in 2010 by Left
Coast Press. She has directed numerous community oral history
projects in Oakland and San Francisco. Inspired to bring the power
of storytelling to wider audiences, she founded Story Bridges, a
non-profit organization whose mission is to design and implement
story telling projects that educate, empower and heal individuals
